Silas Holst

Silas Victor Holst was born the 20th February 1983. He is a dancer and choreographer. He plays also in many theaters. 

Family:
Silas’s mother name is Lene. His father name is Benny. He has a big brother named Nilas. Nilas is tree years older than Silas. Silas father has also two other kids from his former marriage, and there names is Karina and Nicholas. Karina is twelve years older than Silas and Nicholas is 16 years older than Silas.

When Silas was four years old, his parents got divorced. But it was a happy divorce. Silas, Nilas and his mother moved to Brønshøj, and his father stayed in Glostrup.

Silas’s mother and her friend Lene, decided to start a dance school. The dance school is called “Lene Løvendahl dance studio”.

School:

Silas got victimized in school. They yelled at him because he was the fat boy in the class, he danced, he had big glasses and were very deferent from the other kids in the class. The first day in school he was asked, if he was a girl or a boy. He thought it was very hard to get that question on the first day of school. Silas thought the school was okay, but he didn’t liked the breaks, because the other kids in class would push him and call him fat and gay and so on. He tried to hide himself so they couldn't find him.

Dance:

Silas began to dance when he was tree years old. It was like his second home and he always felt safe when he was at the dance school. Nobody yelled at him and said bad things about him. Silas felt that he was good at something and that the other kids on the dance school respected him and thought that he was a good dancer. He forgot the school when he danced and gave everything he could. 


From 1989 to 1998 Silas were the danish champion for Kids, junior and youths.
